That's it, Whales control the market and there's nothing much you can do about it other than to play long term
Today the sentiment here was of death... in a few a minutes a lot of buying orders and BTC pumped 2k up and alts followed. Do you think this is organic?
Of course not! Whales are playing with the market and will continue to do so and take money off from retail, specially when you buy at the top and panic sell
Other way to lose larges amount of money to whales is leveraging. A lot of shorts got blasted in the last 2 hours
Just check Whale Alert twitter, there are millions and billions of dollar moving from just a few wallets.
Even if everyone in this sub chipped in with 10 USD$, it wouldn't even come close to whales' power. See this transactions just a few hours ago: " 129,921,132 USDT (129,921,132 USD) transferred from unknown wallet to BINANCE ". That's over 30 USD for each one here! And that's just one Whale
TLDR: That's it boys and girls, you're a mere shrimp or algae in this crypto ocean, and the only real tool you have at your disposal is playing long term and not panic buy/sell, all the rest is playing with your luck and chances are you are going to get crushed by the whales

After Market Adaptive Cruise Control?

I was very fortunate to purchase on a 2022 X5 45e a couple of weeks ago. It has the executive package and park assist package, but did not come with the driver assist package (I think that’s what it’s called). This vehicle had already been built when I purchased it and it did not come with adaptive cruise control. My question is whether or not it is possible to add adaptive cruise control after market? Have any of you ever heard of this being possible? Thanks!

How to control a market.

I've done some research on my low pop realm and want to start controlling a particular craft and the associated mats. Nobody seems to be playing that market. I'm just curious how to properly control the market. It seems people are still able to regularly post modest amounts of the mats at the price I reset the market to, while very little sell the craft. How should I go about properly managing this market? Thanks.
Top Comment: Don't buy up an entire market and then re-post the entire thing right away. Unless you can sit there and monitor it for the next few hours. All that will happen is you maybe make a sale or two, and then people start coming along and undercutting you. Then someone comes along and says "pah, this guy thinks these will sell for that much!!" and crashes the market right back down again. To properly control it you need to be patient and buy up stock, but more importantly limit how much you're putting back on. You do that until you've got it sitting at the price point you like. Then you can start to post a little more. If the market you're looking to control is something craft-able then you'll need to look at how easy is it to craft those items and could people just buy up the raw materials and do it themselves. For example, Gem Chips are used in Nightborne Delicacy Platter along with Starlight Rose, Wildfowl Egg (may as well be a vendor item), an actual vendor item and Barracuda Mrglgagh (made from Leyblood, Black Barracuda and two vendor items). So if you're looking to control the price of the NDP you also have to pick one of those other markets to make it more difficult for people to craft their own NDP. I personally go after Gem Chips. Gem chips can't be bought for BoS like other items in the list (Starlight Rose). They're created by people prospecting Ore. They sell for a high enough price on my server anyway (10g for one vs 70g for one NDP). You need 20 of them to craft the NDP - which will yield you between between 5 and 10 NDP depending on your recipe rank. So as long as Gem Chips are kept high enough, nobody will want to buy the individual mats to craft NDP themselves unless they're going to craft a tonne of them. Thats when they go buy your NDP that you're selling. Of if they are going to craft them, at least make sure you're selling Gem Chips.

People need to calm down on item pricing it's ridiculous like who can afford an item for 1~10 billion ?
Top Comment: It's because of RMT. People buy gold for real money. As long as whales buy those items for billions, the prices will stay or rise even further. The only way to get those amounts of gold without RMT is trading to whales yourself, unfortunately.
